It has this option. And I read the recommendation from Canon site: On my camera second option is selected from the beginning.

We can switch if you want :D Just kidding, but I wouldn't mind Sigma OS. Speed is the weakest point of this 35mm lens. When I take photos with the autofocus, it often gets stuck and I have to use it manually.
