My group scavenged a few portable solar panels from the ship wreck, so it looks like that no matter what we'll at least be able to listen to some music, even if we can't get a signal. Fortunately, I had some of my favorite albums all loaded up on my phone...
Combine David Byrne's energy and brilliance with just about any instruments and you're bound to have a good time. This album stands out as an intense walk into Byrne's mind, and what better place to get lost when you're stuck on an island.
Sometimes you just got to take it back a bit. Relax under the stars, let your mind wander, and soak up a masterpiece with the tides coming in.
Good thing I got something to bring the crowd back when I need to. Jazz fusion led by modern day masters of their respective crafts? Yeah, they'll be thanking me even after the rescue boat comes.
The UK has one of the most underrated hip hop scenes on the planet. Jehst is a big reason why that's the case. I wish I loaded up A Dragon of an Ordinary Family, as well. Oh well, this is still a classic.
Jay Dee may have been one of the best ever behind an MPC. He just had crate-digging in his blood, and this album shows you his diversity and creativity. We lost Dilla the year this came out, but this album gives me chills no matter where I'm at.
Madlib may have been one of the few people to ever have been able to match or even surpass Jay Dee. Madlib is just on another level. He can play all sorts of instruments, while also being a DJ, producer, beatsmith, and a solid MC. He's had dozens upon dozens of projects, and I'm glad I got one on here.
I only had so much space on my phone, that I couldn't even fit a show or two on here. Don't even know how I ended up with studio Phish, but I am so glad I did. Divided Sky when the storms tomorrow subside seems like a guarantee.
Floyd is full of classic albums, but this is my personal favorite at the moment. I'm sure I'll flip in the future, but I could listen to this once a week easily.

It's so hard with Jimi to pin down a perfect album. He was so over-managed that his early albums, while still full of brilliant moments, failed to really capture what Jimi was as a musician. This may be the best official release that shows the side of Jimi that the world should have seen a whole lot more of.
I know I can dig some more stuff up on my SD card, but this should get us by for a few days...
