TBH, it depends on the topic. Regardless, nowhere near the level of engagement present 6-7 years ago when this was all "new and fresh." In 2018-19 it wasn't that unusual that I'd get 25-30 comments

"Lack of character" is definitely a good way of putting it. It worries me in the sense that it sometimes leaves me feeling like our very human-ness is being removed from from the entire experience
