RE: I started a new hobby
Growing stuff is actually fun and rewarding, when you can eat it, at the end. And the Hive Gardening community is cool and has lots of good tips. I'm with you, tomatoes are abominations of another order.

RE: Late Night Musings: An Ode to Unfinished Projects!
Sometimes I do wish I had a better capacity to finish what I started. But I get a little ways into things, and then I spot something else I'd like to get involved with so I start that, and from that I

RE: Late Night Musings: An Ode to Unfinished Projects!
Historically, I have tended to not give up on projects... I have just postponed them more or less indefinitely!

Tengo might know something I don't, but I'm going to suggest you might be talking about @hivelist. Let me see if I can find the community... Here you go: It's a little easier to grok if you visit the actual

These challenges do tend to become a little more "bearable" when we're not doing them alone! Yes, you're welcome to tag me in related posts... @alchemystones will be doing the challenge, but

RE: 100-Day Challenge: Building Those Neural Pathways to New Habits!
That's the thing about this... I also find it relatively easy to establish a routine at something I really like, but getting used to doing something that's necessary for what you're doing... that's a lot

RE: 100-Day Challenge: Building Those Neural Pathways to New Habits!
Hi @nickydee, I guess we could set up a thread "container" on INLEO to house the posts and updates... kinda like people have been doing with music playlists and other stuff, there. If nobody

Thanks for the inspiration, Gillian! I just made an initial post about it on my @alchemystones art account, which is where I'll be participating from... probably not starting in earnest till next Tuesday,

Yeah, I just read Gillian's post via my art account, and then went on to post about it from there! I'm onboard there, for sure. I guess promoting it via Threads is not a bad idea!

RE: The Ridiculousness of Credit Card and Loan Offers!
Pretty much the same holds true here. To get your score up, it's not enough to just get credit cards, you have to use them...

Makes me wish I were "independently wealthy" enough to just buy a smaller house with cash, while still living in the old house... but no such luck!

RE: The Ridiculousness of Credit Card and Loan Offers!
Our fiscal environment is totally screwed. In order to have a decent credit score for something like a mortgage, you first have to subject yourself to "stupid debt" to get your number up. Unless

Oh, I can relate to that! I have a "ding" on my credit report for an alleged unpaid cable bill that arose because a defective cable modem was replaced by a technician, but the new serial number

Perhaps "hate" is a bit of an overstatement! But I am definitely not much of a "consumer," by traditional standards.

I agree, we definitely need the web2 social media... mostly because we're not going to have a situation where one day everything is "magically" Web3. I think it's going to be a long slow

RE: My Early Nomadic Life: Memories of Many Travels!
It is ironic that we often long for what we didn't have in early life. The lack of stability and sense of pervasive unrest always made me fee very anxious. I really like having put down roots here.

RE: What's your idea of perfect?
The greatest insights are often not so "great" in the broader sense, but instead come out of viewing What Already Is from a slightly different angle.
