Poor Nadi! Our furry friends just don't know what's happening when their trusted human suddenly puts them on a fasting routine... but it's what the doctor orders. Crossing my fingers for an outcome that

Thanks for sharing these memories! Although I sometimes write about my childhood here on Hive, it's a little different since I was born in Denmark and grew up there... didn't arrive in the US until University

Ha! Those things incessantly pass me by whenever I look at anything on Facebook. No worries, I only use Facebook because we have a couple of new grandkids and it's the best way for everybody to distribute

Yes, I've also found it quite helpful to keep a creativity journal, as much as anything to just have a record of ideas that I didn't have time for when I first thought them up but that might turn out to

Fact! And for just $2.99 a month, we will fill your email daily with more pop psychology articles and life-changing messages from our marketing partners! Which is why I always just cherry pick the sense

At times like these I am actually grateful to be 65 and counting!

United States of Cascadia? That mught not be such a bad thing... California, Oregon and Washington are all "net positive" states (give more to the federal goverment than they receive in benefits)

Yes, they are so pretty and cheerful! And once established, they keep coming back. The yellow is definitely some kind of yarrow.

I think what is most worrisome about the situation, and about living in the USA at the moment is the fact that the current president seems to do whatever he wants without any control by government. He

What's ironic about it is that 15 years ago Google was on a major kick to erase all click farm content from search results. I remember Google quality assurance czar Matt Cutts constantly releasing new

Thank you @ewkaw, appreciate it.

Perhaps Hive is transforming, rather than dying. This place was built almost entirely on the notion of "get rewarded for content/activity." Because the money motivation outshines the actual doing

Well, we watched it... and I guess we're peripherally Seahawks fans since we live in the area and have two adult kids in the city. The Seattle defense did its job well, pretty much shutting down any and

That rots! Poor Nadi... Sounds like some small minded municipal civil servant has a hair up their butt... their one chance to exercise power over others. Damn shame!

Always curious when new H-E tokens suddenly show up. It seems like a tough road you've chosen, but I wish you luck! Maybe someday someone will crack the code to make a 2nd layer project long-term sustainable.

A bit of a latter-day throwback to the days when you could only take the phone as far as the cord reached! One of the exciting things in college was going to Radio Shack and getting a 50-foot phone cord.

Thanks! It is actually a pretty good chunk of lifetime, especially compared to other Ventures I've gotten interested in. And I plan to continue being here for as many years as this show keeps running.

Thank you! Barring anything unforeseen happening to Hive itself, I definitely plan to be here for the 10th as well!
