Journey to Upper or Lower Rowe Lake?
As I hiked my way upward to Rowe Lakes, I was pondering whether or not go to the upper lake or just hit the lower lake. Wasn’t quite sure how much extra time it would cost me until I arrived at the signage.

Trail to Rowe Lakes
One thing that really stood out for me on this hike was the pristine beauty of the trail itself. The reddish tint of the soil made it gorgeous to trek on. You know when they say that “It’s not the designation,

After a couple of good hikes it was time to hit the road, and head back to our hotel. But first, the mountainside scenery was something to behold! Good thing I was able to stop by the roadside (and even

Wrapping Up Forum
Another hike completed, another one for the “record books”. Took about two and a half hours round rip to Forum Falls and back. I would rate it as about a 6/10. Good hike, worthwhile, but wouldn’t go out

Heading back from Forum Falls, a few random captures, a few views that caught me eye here. Notice the reddish colour of the earth on the first photo; this area of Waterton park is known to have excessive

Approaching Forum Falls
The hike to Forum Falls was relatively easy, with an elevation gain of about 350 metres or so. But looking back on it, it did not feel like that much, I would have guessed less actually. Just goes to show

On this particular day I was able to get in two hikes. The first was to Crandell lake, and the second was to Forum Falls, but little did I know one would take me into British Columbia! It is not often

Descending Upon Crandell Lake
The hike started with some easy elevation gain, typical for most any hike. Followed by elevation loss, which is not as typical, but not rare either. The loss was about half the gain, give or take. As I
