The spectacular night launch of Space Shuttle Endeavour (STS-97) as seen from Cocoa Beach. This launch occured on November 30th, 2000. While there are still some impressive night launches, there won't be anything comparable to the shuttle until the SpaceX and NASA heavy lift rockets start flying.
