But you have the right to not allow guns on your property. It's YOUR property after all. They have the right to choose to visit your property under those conditions or not. Ignorance is no excuse. Someone could bring a gun and accidentally shoot someone and then as property owner you might be sued for that too. You can be sued either way. I believe people should be responsible for their own actions.

I'm not saying I agree with a choice not to allow guns, just that you have a right to set the rules as to what is allowed on your property and as a potential visitor, I can either obey those rules or stay away from your property.
