The Emdrive is a huge breakthrough!
The Emdrive if it works will open the doors to interplanetary space travel. In addition, it could also be a remarkable investment opportunity. Space travel and space colonization will allow for the global economy to continue to grow for at least another generation. Capital will flow back and forth, along with resources and people, between planets. In addition, terraforming planets will require all sorts of new technologies, including advances in bioengineering, possibly synthetic lifeforms, or the use of genetic engineering to tailor intelligent life to different planets.
There is a strong possibility that life in some forms exists under the oceanic ice on Europa
Europa is one of the moons of Jupiter. It's rumored that there is water beneath the surface. In face NASA recently announced that there may have been water plumes spotted on Europa. This would be huge and would merit sending a probe.
The Emdrive would make a trip to Europa faster and more efficiently than any other drive. How fast? Instead of it costing years to get to Mars, it would only cost months.
