good afternoon to everyone in this needlework@needlework monday community here bringing you a post showing a recently finished job created from scratch by my mom

For this work, different materials were used: red and purple ribbons that used to be used to surround the tree as an ornament, cardboard to create the basket, rods from an old blind, and fabric to create weight bags. Here we begin by showing a little how was the process

dd.jpg

First with the cardboard the box was assembled, which later with the rods the hatching work was done, pretending to be the classic basket of hot air balloons.

These are the rods that were used and chopped to create the lining of the basket.

and the result is this, as you can see, quite detailed and it does not look like a simple cardboard box

now the balloon process would be this

bb.jpg

These are the ribbons with which the balloon was assembled, these ribbons are the typical ones with which the Christmas tree is decorated

Here the ball was assembled and left over materials, as you can see a before and after with the same materials

hh.jpg

After having the balloon ready, it is time to fill it in, which was precisely made with plastic bags.

And finally, it remains to assemble the small weight bags of the balloon

and after this all the pieces were left, the balloon, the basket and the weight bags and that's it, an original ornament with recycled materials for this Christmas

I hope you like this work that my mom did for Christmas 2022, we'll see you in another post here in #hive until next time
