3Speak is now very close to delivering their SPK network and make incentivized video storage on top of the IPFS system. The snapshot for the claim drop for the BROKA miners tokens happens early in January. In the future months users will be able to claim the tokens on a monthly level.

Meanwhile the existing app keeps on going, people use it and post on it. Let’s take a look at the latest data.
Here we will take a look at the activity on the platform, the overall number of posts and comments, and the number of users. The top content creators for January 2022 will be presented as well.
3Speak started its journey somewhere around May 2019, since when we will look at the data.
Activity on 3Speak
First let us see the number of posts, or to be more exact videos coming from the platform.
Here is the chart.
In the start there have been a nice up trend till July 202o, then a flat out in activity towards 2021, followed by a spike in the last period.
Starting from July 2021, there has been a constant growth in the numbers of videos posted daily from 3Speak.
The daily number of videos has grown from around 150 to almost 300 videos, doubling the number in a few months.
Here is the number of posts summarized by month.
Note that there was a glitch in the 3Speak and it has posted around 2k videos on January 17, 2022.
If we exlude those posts there is still around 7k videos in January 2022, and around the same number in December 2021, up from the around 4k videos per month in 2021.
3Speak Authors
How is 3Speak doing with the number of authors on the platform?
Here is a chart on the number of monthly authors that posted on the 3Speak platform.
The note about the bug in January applies here as well.
In December there is around 1500 authors using the 3Speak app, and around the same number in January 2022 as well.
Next the number of unique authors that posted on the 3Speak platform. These are authors that posted directly through 3Speak frontend.
The number of unique 3Speak authors is showing continuous growth.
There is around 7500 unique authors have used 3Speak to post, adding around 500 new unique authors in the previous months.

We can notice a down trend in the numbers of votes, although I the last period the numbers seems constant with a slight growth. Around 40 votes per day now from 3Speak.
