A CRY FOR HUMANITY

  • Fallen knees on broken land,
    Cries of the heart, I couldn't stand;
    For the evil has no mercy,
    Killing men without sanctity.

From the battle between swords and guns,
Bombarded with thousands of bullets and bombs;
Bathed with blood and fear,
No! I hear screams underneath my tear.

More than abused, I am bruised,
Seeing children crying and confused,
Living in despair and uncertainty,
What happened now to humanity?

Easier to be an earthly man,
Hard it is to be a human;
Life's at stake at all cost,
Faith is needed but it's lost.

I've seen people painted with scars,
Lives pay more than the steel bars;
One day, all hands be at one,
In unity, wars will be done. *
