The difference is made up by the tokens that are burnt. So for 2024, the burning mechanism provided an additional APR of 0.5%.

I've realized that APR can be expressed in many different ways and there are plenty of ways, more or less imaginative, to calculate it :-). I hope that the project can evolve in the same linear fashion

Less tokens but with the same value of hive power on the account makes the token growth faster :-)

Each burn has a multiplicator effect because the divisor is getting smaller and smaller with each burn :-)

It goes even further because when we burn we actually change the balance of the equation: Before burning: x Hive Power / x tokens in circulation After burning: x Hive Power / x - Burn tokens in circulation
