the main thing I liked about sorare which was an improvement over Hive is the frontpage which actually looked really nice. The betting exchange also had a ton of potential but the way those usually go

Indeed, that was also my only real hope that they would sell the project while it was still somewhat alive as it was clear that they didn't really have the right intentions to really make it work.
