Not real sure what's going on here. I happened upon the sight above on the shores of Lake Jackson in Grand Teton National Park and still haven't quite figured out what to make of it. Are they cairns, meant

If you're ever driving on the 101 in northern Oregon and have a minute to spare, stop in Cannon Beach and go see Haystack Rock. It's an old sea stack and National Wildlife Refuge that's even been in a

The weekend is starting a bit early this week, at least around these parts. Somebody needs to tell the weather that though, it's rainy and dreary enough outside for it to pass as a Monday. I know @victorbz

People can be a bit much sometimes. When I need a break from sticking a camera in people's faces, plants provide a welcome respite. Unless it is windy they're usually much more cooperative subjects and

Weekend before last we went to an art fair here in town and ended up talking with one of the artists whose booth really caught our eye. He was a photographer out of Belgium with a name I don't recall but

Sometimes you get word that the local Westboro Baptist imitators are going to be out harassing people at the Pride Festival... Sometimes you just have to go fuck with them... Sometimes the preacher recognizes

It's Friday, the weekend is near! Twist one up and burn it down, crack open a beer! Don't know about y'all but I like to have a little music with my weekend. Since I'm posting photos of desert rocks I

My brother just got back from spending a month and a half in France and he brought me back a couple souvenirs. One of these is my new play-pretty, an Opinel No. 8 knife. I'd never heard of the knives before

Ever have one of those days were you have a bunch of stuff on your to-do list but every time you try to mark something off it just goes sideways? Today is definitely one of those days for me, aside from

Tomorrow is the one year anniversary of the Kentucky Attorney General's announcement not to charge anyone with the killing of Breonna Taylor (one officer was charged for firing into a neighboring apartment).

Don't know if I just spend too much time in the photography related parts of hive or what but process posts seem to be something of a fad as of late. Not that I think that's a bad thing but it got me to

Wake up and smell the chemtrails! Smells like victory! Never mind, that's napalm in the morning. Anybody seen Apocalypse Now? Talk about the boat trip from hell. Best movie based on a book that I've seen,
