I see a couple things. Some of us are not good content creators, especially for blogging style platforms like Steemit. Many don’t find that niche idea that will define their content, or we just lack that little extra creativity in the content creation area.
It’s much easier (and quicker) to answer a question about a topic than to come up with the question yourself, then create something that engages the audience. With Musing you usually have at least one interested party, the person who asked the question.
Then if people truly want Steemit and Steem based applications to go mainstream, then platforms like this that offer easy simple ways to engage have to be developed and used by existing Steemians. As they develop it should slowly grow the user base and the value of Steem itself.
This is just my #2cents you can take it or leave it.
