Yamadera, meaning "mountain temple" In Japanese is exactly what is sounds like: a temple on a mountain. The hike up is approximately 1000 steps and full of small shrines and statues relating the Buddhism.

Unfortunately for my friends and I the rain was coming down pretty bad for most of our hike but we did not let it stop us. I took a bunch of pictures along the way and wanted to share some with you guys.

I hope you enjoy!
