I'm a 59 year old, computer illiterate, father of five.
One of my son's recently came to me wanting to teach me all about crypto currencies. When I asked him what backed it, he told me, "data"! whuhuuu??? I said, "data"??? He said, "what backs the U.S. dollar"? I replied that it was supposed to be gold, but the rumor is that there is none. He then said, "so that means the federal governments word backs it"?
Enough said, I'll be more comfortable relying on ,"data", than the word of the U.S. government!
I've never been so frustrated trying to learn something this confusing...as a matter of fact, I've never tried to learn something this confusing! I'm praying for light at the end of the tunnel.....
Is it really that confusing or am I just really that stupid. I don't know what people that don't have a 12 year old at home do when their computer or phone malfunctions!
I don't think there's any question that crypto currency is the place to be and ultimately where we're headed but someone needs to make this stuff a little easier for us older guys.
