The Bible teaches us that God wants us to do good to everyone, not just to those close to us. When God created Adam, He saw that Adam was lonely and gave him Eve as a companion.
So we can really see that God really had a good intention for people to care for one another .
Galatians 6:10 says, “As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.” Here, the word opportunity simply means life itself. Every new day we wake up is another chance given by God to help someone and show kindness.
Imagine you have a neighbor going through tough times. Giving them food or simply listening to them can change their day. Or think of helping a stranger carry something heavy.
We think these small acts matters , but it doesn't
Doing good isn’t limited to our family or friends. It includes everyone we meet even people we don’t like.
Jesus himself showed us this example. The sick were healed the sick, the hungry were fed, and those who hurt him where prayed for. If he could do good to people who hated him, we should also try to be kind to everyone even our enemies.
God doesn’t want us to hurt others or make them sad. He really wants us us to put smiles on people’s faces and make the world a better place. So, as we live each day, let’s remember to use every chance we get to do good to all men, just as God wants us to.
