You no longer lose a Unit Slot It used to be a Nerf Called "Force Reduction" where you lost 1 Unit Slot... So if the rules said you could play all 6, if you played Nid, you could only play 5

I did make a mistake and updated the price of the Oxen - I copy/pasted the Druid data but forgot to update the actual multiplication but like you said it didn't change too much because they are the same.
