The Winner

On the 30th of September 2019, the CanWork team will shortlist three submissions and get the community to vote on a final winner in our Telegram Channel.

Prize Package Details

The winner will receive $500 worth of time and assets towards a video editing/motion graphics production working with Ersagun Demirel.
No funds will be transferred to the winner. The CanYa team will engage Ersagun on behalf of the winner.
The CanWork team will assist with preparation, introductions & communication to help optimise the time and ensure the success of the project.
The winner should expect 14 days working time for the deliverable, more if the project scope exceeds the prize value.
Estimates of value
The following are examples and estimates of the $500 credit with Ersagun:

Video editing service
For 1 or more videos
Up to 20 hrs work, less if additional digital assets are required

3 - 4 min animation from a presentation file
Time & quality will be optimised if illustrator or photoshop documents are supplied

30 to 60-second animation, promotion, info or ‘how-to’ video
Time & quality will be optimised if ready-made or stock character graphics are supplied

Short social media campaign video
As typography or animation

Limitations:

The prize is limited to a single revision
The $500 is equivalent to 20hrs of Ersagun’s time NOT INCLUDING original digital assets. Voice over, licensed stock audio & visual assets can be included but will reduce the effective working time of the freelancer.
There is NO GUARANTEE the video will be completed for the $500 budget. This will depend on your specific needs, expectations, source materials, additional assets required and effective communication.

Of course, we encourage larger projects to apply. Excess payments to Ersagun can be arranged via the CanWork payment system using credit card or supported cryptocurrencies.

The CanYa team will assist in the process (where needed) to ensure the goals and outcomes of the video are clear for both parties.
