From time to time I see "burn" posts. Do we know how many hive tokens have been burned and whether this has offset the inflation in supply?

My impression is there was a Trump effect. The Australian Liberals allied themselves too closely to Trump - Trump then did the dirty on them by putting tariffs on Australia despite the US running a trade

I think it depends on what the tariffs on April 2nd will be.

It's to do with US govt debt. Stablecoins purchase Treasuries to maintain the peg to the dollar. As the Chinese reduce their purchases of Treasuries, the Trump administration has decided the stablecoin

Well it looks like tariffs including VAT are definitely going ahead - Trump signed an executive order. So we shall find out how this works in practice.

It all depends on how the local elections go.
