This week's prompt was a surreal one for me because it just reminded me of how some scammers swapped all my liquid tokens on Hive, leaving me with nothing. Thank goodness that they weren’t able to gain access to my staked token, except for about 784 Alive tokens, which they also swapped.

Creating content and participating in Hive contests were my favourite ways of earning online. I joined Hive blockchain in June 2025 through @ivyann and have been staying alive and thriving. Though I have also tried earning through other platforms like the Telegram token mining and Facebook monetizing profile pages, none have actually yielded results for me like the Hive blockchain.

The estimated value of my Hive account within six months was over a hundred Dollars, and I was happy about that. I used it as evidence to woo my friends to join the blockchain before the catastrophe struck around January 17, 2026.

When I joined the blockchain, I was naive about building relationships and commenting, but I got to understand some ethics and processes of becoming when I joined some Discord channels like the Ladies of Hives, Ecency, Sci-Fi multiverse, India United, and others.

There, I joined the general chat and started learning and following processes, paying attention to community rules and regulations, visiting waves to make friends and build relationships. Gradually, over three months, I started growing, gaining followers little by little, winning contests, and gaining attention and support of the communities I belong to.
With the introduction of Snap and internal chat on Ecency, I have gained good advice and feedback that is encouraging and useful in my journey on the Hive blockchain.

Recently, to support me in rebuilding, @builliontools transferred a whopping 100 Hives to encourage me and soothe my pains. This single act brought me back fully. Today, I am riding back on the horse of success.

Though I have not gotten to where I want to be on the blockchain, I am not hoodwinked. Consistent daily progress is the only anthem that will keep updating me to a better version of myself.
