A few mildly promising flowers starting on my smaller tomato plant. I'd really like to see some tomatoes growing in the near future. Pretty weird the disparity between my two tomato plant in terms of growth

Ended up being busy with family stuff and didn't get a chance to clean out Gillbert's tank today. I think my wife might clean it tomorrow since she has the day off work. Poor guy is living in a pretty

I just thought this looked neat with the tomatoes hanging down in the background. Bird's eye view! Not really sure what to do with my lights right now. I'd like to lower them but my one tomato plant is

Gilbert's home and his tank is a mess! Not exactly sure what happened during Gillbert's adventure at school but it looks like I need to do some cleaning. I went out and bought a little temporary tank for

A bit of glare here but I just wanted to show how the mini-greenhouse is already making a difference in the appearance of the seed and soil. I'm hoping that we will see some sprouting action in the near

Just got sent this beautiful rendition of Gillbert and his aquarium. As you can see from the drawing, his plastic leaf has fallen off the side of the tank and is now resting on the bottom of the tank but,

My garden post basil harvest. Looks pretty sparse! The tomatoes both growing a little cockeyed doesn't help either. Realized that I forgot to use my mini-greenhouse on my little pea planting experiment.

Harvested another round of basil today. I'm going to give all of this away because everything I need I just take straight off the plant but whenever things get overgrown I need to have a big harvest. The

Saw this sign today. Kids selling plants for $5, it was mostly basil and made me think that maybe I have a future in selling basil plants.... okay maybe not!

I'll have Gillbert back in a few days after school ends. Sounds like he was a huge success in the classroom and the kids did great with him. I am considering sending him back to school again next year

My tomato bunch. Time to harvest these suckers! Cleaned up a bit today. Tried to trim all of the basil flowers off and get rid of some of the dead leaves laying around. Added a bunch of water today and

The tomatoes are almost touching the counter top. This plant would be quite tall if it hadn't decided to fold itself in half. It's pretty crazy watching how this plant has transformed over the past few

Last of my first tomatoes. They are getting a bit over ripe now and need to be picked off this weekend. I should have some free time tomorrow and might just do a big clean up on my garden since it's kind

My glorious garden. Looking pretty good right now I think. This is the current bend on my tomato plant. Damn thing is almost folded in half!

My newest tomatoes with some bonus feet added to help spice things up. These tomatoes are still very green and small but it's nice to see them coming in so quickly (even if my plant can't handle the weight).

Just a few flowers I saw today from around my parents house. I'm not very versed in plant names so all I know is that they are pretty. This was planted in my parents flower bed and appears to be growing

This is a rhubarb plant that is at my parents house. The plant is enormous and always regrows like crazy after being harvested. Right now it's just totally out of control and I went ahead and trimmed it

My poor pepper is just getting crushed by my leaning tomato plant right now. Little guy has just run out of room! Definitely need to harvest some basil this week. This stuff just won't stop growing. I'll

So the water in my water garden keeps getting dirtier while it's on vacation at school. I was trying to help troubleshoot some possible solutions without actually going to the school. I was curious about

A cute little tomato flower. Hopefully it turns into a full fledged tomato soon! I think I have an issue here. I have more plant outside of the garden than I do inside. Damn thing is heading straight for
