Dumb fucks are they, you put me on pirate at $0.50 i believe it twas, unfortunately I could not opportune at the time (long story) ..but kept an eye and looked into, got excited about the project and looked at every way I could get involved aisaide speculating on the coins. me and my boy are looking at plundering(mining) those doubloons, a nice skooling project for the wee lad!
Anyway, I managed to buy my first ARRR at like $11/$12 ...I know, I know, you pumped it Jeff and I missed out ..because of you dirty skankard, HOW DARE YOU?! lol
ARRR... but fortune favours the brave me hearty, my coin cost is now down to $8ish and hopefully $6 if the play book pans out, arrr, i'm sure twill!

I got a long story, which I may mail you about sometime, but the short of it is, I'm not a TDV subscriber as can't afford just yet! But have been an avid fan for the last year. After a massive burn, picked up trading again four months ago and making 300% on my stake, ok that was not exactly a lot but is growing day by day.
Much credit goes to you Jeff, Ralph and mr X, I have traded previously before my wipe out but you guys have built back a confidence and ..to be fair, ability in the crypto space, so a huge thank you guys and virtual hug. I'm also a web developer, long been interested(2010/11) in the space but sad to admit, have only just dived in.
A separate thanx to Lucy & Jeff, for you both have really kept me over this last year, it was the first lookdown her in UK I stumbled upon your vids and have been an avid watcher since, I look forward to the vids, seeing Lucy, getting her perspective on all things doge and taco, and you Jeff on life n' shite, & too the crypto as above!

Firstly ,I must disclaim I'm not a pirate historian. I have since my boyhood been a pirate fan, and being Irish- kinda proud that the most famous female pirate is an ol irish lass.
Anyway, to elaborate on Jeffs take of what a 'traditional' pirate is or was..
Back in the day when the colonial Govs(Euro) couldn't afford to keep a full naval presence in their American colonies, they licenced certain sailors & mercenaries to watch over their colony and too plunder the loot of opposing colonies as it was shipped back to the colonising country.
That was all legal then, they had licenses and all the paper work to carry out such.
Those sailors and mercenaries became Pirates when there licences were revoked for whatever the political reason was at the time, and so you have a large population left in the wilderness, they couldn't be employed by which ever navy or had no skills of 'value' residing in parts of the world where there were slaves and masters. They were neither, they were FREE! ..and after being disbanded, even more FREE!!
Thats the very short story of how pirates became to be. YES its cool to be a pirate, because we hold it deer for the idea of FREEDOM!
