Well I have been on Steemit for 1 week now and I am starting to get the hang of it I think. I still have not found my niche as yet, however I hope to find my place in this community and add value as time goes on.

What I like about steemit

1.) The users have total control over the content, if you write something that people like it will get some upvotes and some comments.

2.) Good content should equal higher payouts on average. Although not always the case.

3.) You can write about anything

4.) Great diverse community with a wide range of interests

5.) Getting rewarded with cryptocurrency that can be easily turned into real money

Some dislikes

1.) A number of bots are present

2.) I have some concerns this will become a copy and paste content farm for those just looking to make a quick buck

3.) All content is not created equal, I have seen some great articles not earning much and some real crap that did really well

I will plan to write a weekly report on my experience with Steemit. I wish everyone the best of luck and hope the users of Steemit continue to make this a great community.
