I agree with you. Companies of the future are going to be a few guys collaborating, and AI will be doing most of the grunt work. Things we used to hire a dozen secretaries/accountants/copy makers.

For, hydroelectric, you buy, off the shelf, little, one house sized generators. You hook up a pipe from upstream ,and run a pipe downstream. The amount of power you get out is based on the distance dropped.
