How long can they keep the ponzi going, or does it all fall down when the social fabric comes apart?

RE: Tapering the Precious Hive Power
No need to apologize. I know the AI Art irks you, but I need a picture or it's just a boring wall of text that will be TLDR and I don't have the talent or budget to do better. I think the quirky fked up

RE: MicroStrategy Is A Pyramid Scheme
Nice assessment. I tend to agree. The P/E and typical metrics are really not relevant. You nailed it with this single sentence :- "MicroStrategy’s stock is essentially a high-leverage Bitcoin ETF

PS - I could probably run a competition "Find 20 things wrong with this picture" but I am sure you would win it so it would not be much of a contest :)

You don't know what's going on under that desk. She got a tail to fit in there and she has no pants on. The pen is a double-ender. Precious is quirky and a bit special. She is just posing for a photo here.

This is exactly the question I'm asking too. I think they get a honeymoon period where people are waiting to see what/how they do.

Maybe instead of resisting it and pretending it's not we should embrace it.

RE: What the fuck do witnesses do?
I like to support reliable and active witnesses who do a little bit extra, though I disagree that the witness position is not political. As much as I hate politics we might need to have some sort of regular

RE: Is Altcoin Season Here?
I am still a big believer in the potential for Smart Contracts to disrupt a lot of established norms. I am keen on Ethereum (first mover), curious about Cardano (technically impressive) and skeptical of

Its pretty bad when you join crypto in a bull market and still get burned. Meme Coins are going to do that to a lot of people...

RE: Gold Bounces : Is it WAR you're looking for?
De-dollarization is a bigger macro trend with a longer term horizon. I am still bullish on Gold over the long term, just expecting a bit of a correction or consolidation in the short term.

I feel the same way. To have a lame duck president making such a massive change to foreign policy that could lead to an irreversible escalation of war as he heads out the door is so horribly irresponsible

RE: Australia vs India Cricket : Border Gavaskar Trophy
Day 1 there was moisture in the pitch so it moved around a bit. Flattened out a lot on Day 2 but the Aussie bowlers were out in the heat for a couple of hours scrounging runs and I reckon it took the edge

You'd think that on paper Australia were likely to be dominant...so it's kind of embarrassing that Australia is struggling after 2 days.

Thanks for sharing some of the fundamentals of Doge. I guess my question is - Are people buying it because of it's fundamentals? Or are they buying it because it's the pre-eminent memecoin? I'd argue that

Yes, a lot of the "technology coins" do under-deliver on promises. That's an issue of competency or even integrity but at least some of them are trying. For this space to evolve the alt-coins

Thanks for the link. I did watch it all... ...and I still find the whole thing completely retarded. I have no need, or interest in joining or promoting a cult. I'm not here to be in a tribe or a religion
