I don’t cry “censorship” lightly. Steemit has always had the ability and has blocked users in the past for excessive spam, illegal activity, etc. As we always used to cry out, “Steemit is not Steem!“ Steemit

Same. I started a full power down upon the announcement of Hive. We’ll see what the market looks like as these weeks progress. As a matter of principal I want to try to transfer as much of the monetary

I agree. It still feels strange, “walking away” from Steem, but it’s really only the name... and I think we can all agree that has plenty of baggage attached anyway! I’m excited for the fresh start, and

I’m on board with instant power downs now... Gotta trade for Hive!

I assume Steemit Inc. and Tron will cease promoting their ecosystems on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Reddit, and the rest of the internet as you operate competing products and obviously feel it would be

So. Much. Wow. Of course Steemit always had the option to not display certain content in the front end, and did utilize it in the past in cases of illegal activity, extreme spam, etc. This represents a

Do you mean migrate to Hive? It’s pretty easy! Go to Sign in with your current Steem key/password. Done! note - the site is currently linking to the Steem blockchain but will switch over to the new Hive

Great to see your invite service will be moving over! Thanks for all your service and what’s to come. See you on the other side!

With you on so many levels. My last post was a mini vent as well. Feel free to call if you ever want to chat, and once we can actually sit down in a restaurant again, we should grab some dinner. It’s been

I’ll see ya in the new colony! I’ll probably do my ”Steem farewell” post in the next couple days in anticipation of Friday. I hope to hit the Hive with a renewed passion and urgency that I’ve been lacking

I’m anxiously awaiting a more full announcement of Hive tomorrow. My gut feeling is that Justin Sun will succeed in centralizing the Steem blockchain and I’ll wholeheartedly move my activity to a new fork.

Is that surmised to be just the power down times cut for certain accounts? Is it believed Sun is trying to seize control only to give himself a risk free instant withdraw? If so, I wouldn’t care as we’d

I feel like it’s just another example of saying what we want to hear, and even the introduction of a new, seemingly more reasonable rep is just a stall tactic to buy time. Behind the scenes I think the

Thanks Lars. Yeah... the drinking thing is more or less some "gallows humor" from me, I've never been one for it, but there's an appeal to just shutting my brain down for a while! I'm not

Thank you @cryptopie. Well wishes to you and yours as well, and of course our whole Steem family too!

I do have a “special” glove like that, but you don’t have to get too spendy! Years ago I bought a cheap pack of disposable white cotton gloves, even before I was drawing digitally. I read it was an old

You're welcome. I'm doing my best to stay up to date on any news. For my mental sanity I'd love to step away, but then I'm afraid I'd be totally confused trying to play catch up! 😬 It's been eerily quiet

Basically the utilization of the exchange stake allowed the initial overthrow of the top 20 witnesses, who were running fork 22.2 which froze Steemit Inc. funds temporarily. Justin’s witnesses immediately

Justin’s stake is unfrozen. It has been since he first took over the witness spots with the aid of exchanges. Pretty much every witness has assured him it will not be re-frozen and are asking him to step

I have no advice but wish you luck. I’m considering dabbling in the commission game too and need to test the waters myself. I hope things turn out okay for you. If your travels bring you around Philadelphia
