The defensive wall around the city centre of Cartagena in Colombia were build to protect from pirate attack. However, the canon is directed toward the San Felipe de Barajas Fort. I don't know why.

Surf hidden behind a shipwreck. They say there is no surf on the Mediterranean coast of France. You just have to know where to look. Those are not giant waves but it's still pretty fun to ride.

The campus of UQ St Lucia in Brisbane, Australia offers some fascinating sight when the jacaranda trees bloom. The purple petal cover both trees and ground. A spectacle that happen in October an November.

Fisherman beach in the Caribbean. On the island of Marie Galante, near the bigger island of Guadeloupe, I had my first lobster, catch by the local fisherman of the island. Extra fresh, and extra good!

Sunset on the atlantic. The Dune of Pilat offers an amazing view of the Arcachon Bay in West of France. It's ideal to go watch the sunset and stay at night to observe the summer meteor showers.
