That BBC video was proved wrong on almost every single important point of fact when Tommy's appeal was finally heard after 10 weeks in solitary confinement.

The appeal court completely quashed his conviction and threw out all charges that he might have disrupted a trial.

He is to stand trial again on July 4th this year but on completely new charges that he caused distress to the Muslim child rapists (they're convicted now and in prison) who were walking in to court to hear their verdicts. Apparently this is a crime.

And all of this over a year after an offence he has already spent longer in jail for than any journalist in British history because its unheard of to jail a journalist for reporting a trial and even in cases where the reporting has collapsed a trial, the usual result is a fine paid by the journalist's employer.
