Thank you for tipping your hat in my direction. Hopefully, there’s been some improvement in my poems over the past year-and-a-half. I recently went back and read through all of the tiny poems I’ve written

That’s an interesting way to put those poems together. I don’t know why, but I’m a little surprised that you didn’t decide to use progress or possibility or quantum or growth or some other word instead

The mix of prose and poetry seems to be more popular among everyone. I’ll have to try to do this more often.

I’m always amazed by how smells can so quickly transport us through space and time. I think I can connect that pine smell to a lot of places, but there was something specific about the scent the other

I always wonder if the introduction is necessary or not. Based on comments I’ve received in the past, this seems to be the format that most people prefer. Maybe I’ll start making this the norm for my posts.

It was nice, and it offered great views of some sort of flowering trees that had massive bees climbing all over them. They were fun to watch.

Thanks. I hope to get back to that area next month. Apparently, I was only like 50 feet away from where I was trying to go.

That would be nice. We’ll see what happens next. Getting my first acceptance under my belt does make me want to make more submissions to other journals.

It was hot, but since there was a nice breeze, it was bearable. I hope to go to this spot again in September and actually get to where I planned to go. 🤣
