A student came late to school every day. One day the teacher angrily asked him, “Why are you late every day?” The student lowered his head and said, “Sir, the road was very bad today.” The next day he was late again, he said, “Sir, it rained today.” Another day he said, “Sir, the watch is broken.” The teacher realized that the boy was just making excuses. He laughed and said, “Your excuses are the most timely!” The whole class laughed. Then the student felt ashamed and said, “Sir, from tomorrow I will really come on time.” The teacher said, “Don’t let that be an excuse!”
