This is probably one of the most underrated and untouched modes in the entire game. Maybe I'm the only one who sees it that way, but from what I've noticed, most of my friends who play this game barely spend time in Manager Mode. In fact, I don't think I've ever seen many of them talk about it or share their experiences playing it. However, I recently decided to give it a try, and honestly, I think we've been missing out on quite a lot.
I was getting tired of playing Head 2 Head matches. Even though I was winning most of my games, I still felt bored and needed something different to keep me entertained. That's when I decided to explore Manager Mode, and it turned out to be a pretty interesting experience. Unlike H2H, where I have to control every movement and make decisions on the pitch myself, Manager Mode gives me the opportunity to sit back, observe the game and manage things from the sidelines. I can keep myself occupied by adjusting my tactics while the match is going on, switching formations, making substitutions and trying different strategies to see what works best for my team. Once everything is set, I simply watch my players battle it out against their opponents. If we win, that's a W, but if things aren't going as planned, I go back to the drawing board and make the necessary adjustments to improve our chances of getting a victory.
I haven't won every single match I've played so far, but I've definitely secured quite a number of victories. Having an already well-built squad also gives me a good head start because I don't have to worry too much about building a competitive team before getting into the action. One of my favourite moments so far was effortlessly beating an opponent 4-0. Throughout the match, I kept sending peaceful stickers, hoping to get some sort of response and make the game a little more interactive, but unfortunately, I got absolutely nothing in return. 😂 I couldn't help but imagine that if my opponent had managed to score an equalizer or make a comeback, those stickers would probably have started coming back at me. Maybe the fear of being teased after losing was what kept him quiet! Although, that's not really how I approach these matches. I enjoy having fun, interacting with opponents and making the experience more entertaining, regardless of who wins or loses. Still, the lack of interaction made that particular match feel a little dry, but it didn't stop me from enjoying the mode.
Overall, Manager Mode has been a refreshing experience, especially after spending so much time playing Head 2 Head. It's a different way to enjoy the game, and I honestly think more players should give it a chance instead of overlooking it. Sometimes, you don't always have to be the one controlling every pass and making every tackle to enjoy a football game. Sometimes, all you need to do is build a good squad, make smart decisions and watch your team do the work. Thanks for stopping by, and don't forget to drop your comments before leaving. Goodnight, everyone.
