Lazada and Shopee are the two of the biggest names in the online shopping industry in the Philippines. Both offer great deals and scheduled day sales wherein you can buy your favorite products at the lowest price possible. Payday sale, 11:11 sale, Christmas sale, and many more are some of the above-mentioned. These giants will surely bait you to buy more of the thought that you have saved a lot for buying a discounted product. But the truth is you did not save but instead you spent more.
Sales, discount vouchers, and pay later are features that will surely entice you to spend more. Who doesn't love sales and discounts, right? Using pay later feature you can pay the amount gradually through installments. Getting a higher credit limit means you can buy more products.
I am more of a shopee user for the reason that the shipping fee is lower, there are free shipping vouchers and discount vouchers, and they offer the SPayLater feature for their shoppers. Though these features can take you on a shopping spree, I used these to my advantage.
How do I use shopee to my advantage?
Nowadays, the prices of basic commodities have skyrocketed to the nth level. Prices of food items have put me on a very tight budget. Since I cannot cut off expenses on food items, I do it with other products.I shop online not for my wants but to find great deals with some basic commodities.
One of the products I shop online are for my baby. Growing an infant is so costly. From milk supplements, diapers, and medicines in case of inevitable illnesses, it will surely cut your budget short.
As I scroll through shopee, I found a great deal on baby diapers and baby wipes. I realize that I can use shopee to lessen my expenses on diapers and wipes. But, I do not want to compromise quality for the sake of spending less for my baby. I had to make sure the product that I will buy is of good quality. How do I make sure I won't be scammed? First, I only choose shops that are preferred by many shoppers. You can see below the shop's name that mark. Second, I review the shop's profile, its rating and the number of followers. Third, when choosing a product from their shop, I look at the rating of the product, the number of items sold, and of course the reviews. I would read each one and would prefer products with more good reviews from shoppers.
I found this diaper brand Nestobaba Korean Diapers. These are class B diapers which means these are overproduction of manufacturers, misprints, and slight differences in sizes. It is sold in lower prices since these are from direct suppliers. 50 pcs per pack medium size diaper costs Php300 or around 6$. It can get lower when there is a sale.
My review of Nestobaba Korean Diapers Grade B: The diaper is soft and thin. It is very absorbent. It has a quality comparable with pampers. Even with shipping fee, Nestobaba still cost lower than other diaper product I mentioned.
Using baby wipe can cost me around 90 pesos per week if I have to buy the known brands sold in stores. But I discovered this baby wipes brand Runbeier (80 pcs per pack) in shopee. It's regular price is around Php20+ but during flash sales it can go as low as Php5 per pack. I buy when there is a sale so it only cost me around Php20+ per pack and that includes the shipping fee. 1 pack is good for 1 week use.
Review on Runbeier Baby wipes: The wipes are absorbent, wet, and odorless but it's size is small.But for me it is ok. I just use the right technique in wiping off the poop. In my case I can only use an average of 3pcs wipes when cleaning baby poop.馃憦
That is how take advantage of shopee deals and sales. Instead of spending for wants, I use it to lessen my daily expenses. It may be just a single peso I saved but as it accumulates, that single peso will become hundreds to thousands.
