oh wow... big job redoing compost bins. i love the drainage idea? never really seen that before. does it work well? ours is a mess i added way too much... lol.. will take a bit to sort it out.

yeah compost is the best!! nothing like fresh leaves from the garden for salads and things. thats what we grow so much of. salad greens and herbs (and all the other things, but we use the greens every

i find getting soil in for the raised beds the hardest for sure. all ours are well out the back and through the house. Every bit needs to be carried in by hand. (other than what we get out of the compost.)

ewwww yuck. I don't think i have ever got blossom end rot before (surprising given where we live with torrential tropical rain then drought) but that looks very yuckky. luckily you checked before eating.

yeah.... i isolated a nice bokchoi plant that was infested. I will use it to infect plants to feed the ladybugs :-) yes lady bugs drown easily apparently ???? who knew??? apparently releasing them isn't

i LOVED going around the Abbey gardens and the gardens that had been restored. just amazing what they knew and could do. My husband has his old family seat home in cornwall, at the house has the most AMAZING
