Sadly, that is going to happen to the women here in the USA. The states that have banned abortions are already rushing into their state senates NEW laws that would make it 100% illegal for a pregnant woman to leave the state, or, in fact, leave her home without monitoring. If she leaves the state to go to the states where abortion is STILL legal, they will be imprisoned the moment they attempt to go home, or the state they came from will issue an arrest warrant for them to be extradited back to their home state to go to prison. And THEN attempt to arrest the doctors from the states that have it as legal, basically taking away the rights of people in completely different states.

They are also making a secondary "Guilty until proven innocent" series of laws where any and ALL women who miscarry will be automatically listed as guilty of murder UNLESS the women can prove they didn't miscarry on purpose. Which, of course, is VERY damn hard to prove.

Some states are already putting together funds to expand the prison system to be able to hold more female prisoners in lieu of these new laws being put in place.

And, I should mention, in MOST of these states where these laws are being placed? Over 90% of the prisons are privately owned, For-Profit, facilities.
