I spent my childhood playing outside even if I was only allowed to go out at nighttime. I started noticing little spots on my skin, at that time, I was in the fifth grade; My father decided that I should quit school as my case got worse. He took voluntary departure from his work to take good care of me. I never accepted my illness, I always wondered why would I never go to the beach, go out or just see the sunlight like other people.
At 17, I kind of accepted my illness, because as God afflicts people (whom He loves), He afflicted me with this disease. l started to protect myself. I even enrolled in night classes so that I would do something in my life.
Honestly I am one of a million case with the same disease. Doctors call us "children of the moon"
Some lost their sight because of this disease, others have suffered from mouth erosion as a result of negligence or the lack of awarness of their families.
That is why I created a Youtube Channel so I can create videos to make people more aware about such disease and to show the people suffering from this disease how to protect themselves"
