Hello there, Blockchain Foodies
In you like pizza as much as I do, you'd like to have a family tradition of making it ever first week of each month. I'd love to have pizza frequently, but it isn't exactly the most healthy thing to eat.
It had been a while since the last pizza was made around the house. This week, the smell of bread got into the rooms and I had to go out and check what was happening. Didn't go one step out of the bedroom when mom came to tell me to cut the pizzas. There isn't a phrase that could get a better end of the day than having to cut pizza.
That is unless you work in a pizza joint and have to give them away instead of eating them.
But pizzas looked a bit weird. The cheese had melted too much and hadn't got to its chewy state. Bread was very thick. And that's just something that happens with this store-bought pizza bread. You can't control the thickness of it. It was easy to cut, but the pies were glued to the trays. And that's a result of the moisture that sips through the bread and burns in contact with the hot metal. It even bended a spatula when I tried to get it off.
The liquified cheese made for a second layer of sauce in the pizza. Surprisingly, olives, pepperoni, peppers and the rest of the ingredients didn't fall off this kind of cheesy and saucy bath. And the flavor was there. I found out on the first bite that we had mortadella instead of ham. That explains why it was so good!
And since it was sort of problematic to cut. Mom told me to slice the pizzas in quarters. And that meant half a pizza for me. I reckon this aren't not the largest pies, but having half of it for dinner is still a lot. And I had some soda to work it through. That way I wouldn't feel so full when time to go to bed came around.
I'd like to know if the cheesy thing was a matter of the mozzarella or maybe the pizzas were a bit undercooked. Could it be that the thickness of the bread had something to do with it? And more important, does it matter when the results are just really good nonetheless?
I mean it is not like I wouldn't eat a pizza with white sauce. But I think that is different than melted cheese.
