Arrrgh... spring is well and truly here in the great southern lands... and I'm a LONG LONG way behind after being on tour for the last couple of weeks. I'm back home for a day... packed with teaching,

Another ensemble project bringing me to one of the Australian big cities... and like each time this year, I've taken the opportunity to spend some of unused per-diem food money on visiting the silver shop.

This isn't the first batch of copper that I have picked up... speaking of which, I think I still have those in the photo archive ready to post from several years ago! Sure, copper isn't quite a glamourous

In most things, I'm pretty hyper-organised.... but for some reason, when I planted the winter seeds with my children a few months back, I didn't take notes on what we planted where... and so, with some

Unsplash As my wife and I gather the willpower to put together a large arts grant proposal for our fledgling ensemble... we have been reading through the requirements, and doing research on other arts

The quest to program the last main chamber concert in our series is underway... and it is one of cross-disciplinary concerts. This time, we are pairing Shakespeare Sonnets with our Baroque Music... and
