I tried mining lots of coins, dogecoin, bitcoin, etc. The problem with bitcoins is that you cant mine enough without dedicated gear. The awesome thing about steemit, is that all you need to do is post stuff, and get crypto currency from upvotes, it's simple. that's why I like steemit
