Hello my dear friends, although Paris has its own thing, along with the Parisians, with whom I have not had the best of experiences, I can't help but get lost in its streets every time I look at some of the photos I took walking around that city where I spent a week. So today for this #monomad challenge, we are going to travel to a corner of Paris.
Paris used to be my favorite city, I often dreamed of living there, of enjoying those movie cityscapes, but when I traveled there as an adult woman, I discovered that I had created a magic around the city, based on an old memory of my 12 years, when I walked there with my family.

Hola mis queridos amigos, aunque París tiene lo suyo, junto con los parisinos, con quienes no he tenido la mejor de las experiencias, no puedo evitar perderme en sus calles cada vez que observo alguna de las fotos que tomé caminando por aquella ciudad en la que estuve una semana. Por eso hoy en este desafío #monomad, vamos a viajar por un momento a un rincón de París.
París solía ser mi ciudad preferida, a menudo soñaba con vivir allí, con disfrutar de esos paisajes urbanos de películas, pero cuando viajé ya siendo una mujer adulta, descubrí que había creado una magia entorno a la ciudad, basada en un antiguo recuerdo de mis 12 años, cuando anduve por allí con mi familia.
Paris is a beautiful city that of course I recommend to visit if you are in Europe, but at least I would not choose it as a place to live. However, it is almost impossible to ignore its beauty and avoid breathing the romanticism it emanates, that even if you don't currently have a love, it will definitely make you connect with your most passionate ideas and dreams, which don't necessarily have to be related to someone, you can simply get lost in your desires for your own life based on self-love just by looking at some pictures of Paris.
París es una bella ciudad que claro que recomiendo conocer si uno anda por Europa, pero al menos yo, no la elegiría para vivir. Sin embargo, es casi imposible ignorar su belleza y evitar respirar el romanticismo que emana, que aunque actualmente no tengas un amor, definitivamente te hará conectarte con tus ideas y sueños más pasionales, que no necesariamente tienen que estar relacionados con alguien, sencillamente puedes perderte en tus deseos para tu propia vida con base en el amor propio con tan solo mirar algunas fotos de París.
The Canal Saint-Martin is one of those corners of the city where you understand that there is magic in the air. For an urban explorer like me, who loves to walk and walk around cities sometimes aimlessly, every now and then checking my cell phone to see where I got to, finding these wonders by surprise is something natural. That day I was leaving (or looking for, I don't remember the order) a Yoga center to take a free class offered at the Sivananda Yoga Center in honor of the International Day of Peace, September 21st.
In that search, I came across the canal. Its delicate, ornament-like bridges were busy with people. A tour boat was leaving with visitors venturing out to navigate Parisian waters, the surrounding trees gave a wonderful frame to the image of the canal, and the locals were evident by their calmness, by which they stood, chatting, or chatting. I was contemplating the scene, in that magical cloud that Paris had created for me.
El Canal Saint-Martin es uno de esos rincones de la ciudad en donde uno comprende que hay magia en el aire. Para una exploradora urbana como yo, que amo andar y andar por las ciudades a veces sin rumbo, cada tanto chequeando el celular para ver en dónde me metí, encontrarme con estas maravillas sorpresivamente es algo ya, natural. Y es que aquel día salía (o buscaba, ya no recuerdo bien el orden) un centro de Yoga para tomar una clase gratuita que se ofrecía en el Center Sivananda Yoga en honor al Día Internacional de La Paz, un 21 de Septiembre.
En esa búsqueda, me encontré con el canal. Sus puentes delicados que parecían adornos, estaban transitados por personas. Una embarcación de paseo salía con visitantes que se aventuraban a navegar aguas parisinas, los árboles de alrededor daban un marco maravilloso a la imagen del canal, y los locales se evidenciaban con su calma, por la cual se mantenían de pie, conversando, o charlando. Yo estaba contemplando la escena, en aquella mágica nube que París había creado para mí.
You will share with me the idea that these black and white images have a great appeal, since even in a play of monochromatic tones, they expose the beauty of the city, its dynamism, and somehow transport us to some other era, lost somewhere in the past.
I have added in this publication some photos of a nearby street, since I took them at that moment and they look very nice in this series of captures of Paris.
