I tried to mimic what PeakD actually does when it is calculating the KE. But for some reason in my case it doesn't bring the Hive Power balance correctly - for some accounts it does, from other it doesn't.

I will look into it, do some math and see where the issue resides as indeed that is not right. Thanks for providing this feedback and I will sort it out.
