We have a big Iranian community here in town. They all hoped for a regime change for the last 50 years! Any glimmer of hope they will blindly jump on the bandwagon and support the action. I can see that and have empathy to that action. There is good reason for it from their point of view. They say, no matter what, this is the first president who actually bombed Tehran, actually helped removal of the supreme leader.........that alone would earn their vote forever.
mind you: many of them still have extended family members in Iran. They don't mind their safety no matter what, as long as there is ever a hope for a regime change.
