Oops, I take back what I said! Just checked the help - hive-tx-cli has all that built in:

• hive balance <account> - check balances
• hive rc <account> - resource credits
• hive follow/unfollow/mute/unmute
• hive vote
• hive transfer
• etc

So it's actually super complete. The only issue I hit was the broadcast command erroring on custom_json - but the custom-json subcommand works fine.
