A small feature that will make our life on Steemit more comfortable.
Why do we need “Favorites”?
Here are at least three cases when I want to save a post:
- It contains very helpful information about Steemit (for example, some guides for making your posts interesting and viral);
- Sometimes I do not have time to read the whole home feed (for example, during working hours). I want to save some post and read it later in the evening without scrolling through huge amount of all daily posts to find it;
- Curation rewards maximization. On Steemit there are some penalties for upvoting a post that was created in less than 30 minutes ago. So I’d like to save a post and upvote it later without penalties.
How do we save interesting posts now?
Today if you want to save a Steemit post you need to add it to browser favorites or to use some third-party tools (like Pocket or Evernote). And it is not really convenient.
How can it be improved?
Just adding a new button in the post footer (picture in the beginning of my post) and implementing a new tab in our profiles to get an access to our favorites:
It is not really a complex task, so I hope development team will introduce such a feature in future.
