I think the key is to get them to germinate then keep them in the sun light but cool. I know our house never gets above 21oc so might have an effect on the growth of the plants. I don't know what the temp

@nikv .I love the pots in the colour they already are, I wish I could find some like that over here, I would put them in my yard with some herbs like you have or maybe some of them petunias I have growing.

I have also found recently that the cold helps in the germination of the seeds, so when I pop them out side in the cold and then back inside on the window sill they seem to germinate a lot quicker than
