We had left the Kruger National Park, and on our way to see many other exciting places and things, besides wild animals.

There are no baobab trees in or near cities, as far as I understand, here in South Africa.

I really appreciate you coming around to see what next I'm up to. Because the baobab tree is so rare and only in certain parts of Africa, it was fantastic to have been inside one, don't you think?

There are fewer and fewer Baobab trees in South Africa too. So been able to see this one before it broke down, was a privilege.

Baobab trees are so fascinating because they look like trees growing upside down, with their roots sticking up in the air!

Glad you enjoy what I write about. Yes, people can get carried away and waste their breathe, ie talk about things that isn't reverent to the topic in hand! Miss the point of the subject.

Yes, people don't always understand what we say. So it's important to direct the topic into their `ball park'. Talk about things they can relate to.

Yes, you are right. People are inclined to associate a good story or speech with the person who said it.

I found humour even breaks a serious situation. Maybe because it is associated with happiness! Makes people feel happy and brings relief.

Even when making comments, it's important to say something uplifting and appropriate.

I'm sure now, that you have read this post, you'll be more inclined to watch and listen more carefully to what people say and do, when they give a talk. How they do it and what made it more enjoyable.

It's not so hard, if you think and plan what you're going speak and write about. It's hard though, when someone upsets you, to control what you are going to say. But worth the effort in the long run!
