This photo was from a canoe-camping trip I did this summer. We paddled down Quebec's rivière noire, which translates to black river.

These really wierd rock formations are in the Ottawa river bed, in Gatineau, Quebec. The water level has been low, and these rocks are exposed. I'm curious about the origin for the swirly blobs, traversed
