Jerusalem's Temple Mount is the most holy place in Judaism, but it is occupied by a Muslim Mosque. The western retaining wall, built by king Herod, is the closest place where Jews are allowed to worship.

Here is the Dome of the Rock, on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. One of the most holy sites for Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, this hill was the site of the Jewish temples, and now a Mosque.

I shot this just after sunset on a little lake near Mont Laurier, Quebec.

I got this photo while out snowshoeing on montagnge du diable, Quebec. The sun, trees, and snow were beautiful.

Two sets of tracks head northward across the lake. North, into the wilderness, into the land of mystery. To the north, the ski ruts get lost in the fog of falling snow. Where did they go? I do not know.
